I just finished the etch and polish on the bushcraft knife that will be my very own, and... tadaah, Chrismas;-)...this came out:
The blade shows a very fine structure similar to Wootz patterns. Not only does it contain tungsten or stuff (spark analysis), but it also shows these beautiful curling patterns I like so much...
Messed up the original scales, so I think it will get some elk or stag antler scales, maybe with red G-10 liners.
Blade is 115x4mm with a high convex bevel and a tapered tang with filework. Balance point with scale will hopefully end up on the index finger.
