Oh the loot! Flea market finds....

On a recent flea market I came across a right heap of goodies I just wanted to share with you. The whole lot cost me 20 €;-). Two handforged  Yugoslavian hatchets, a huge piece of stag antler for scales and handles, an electricians knife (I will give you a close-up soon!), three files, two still working, one for damascus, and  a piece of roe deer antler.

It always pays off to keep a lookout!;-)

    1. You have to know where to look, and, in the meantime, I know the traders....

    1. It´s the same over here, but I guess it´s a good time for buying antler, for we once had a vivid hunter´s culture, and "German Gemütlichkeit" always had something to do with rustic décor. But this culture is dying out. People sell the trophys of their grandfathers or the interior décor of their grandparents at ridiculous prices, because in their opinion it´s outdated. Lucky me...;-)

Now go on, discuss and rant and push my ego;-). As long as it´s a respectful message, every comment is welcome!
