I was enthused to find Jacquie Phelan on the web. She has been a pioneer of mountainbike riding and alternative lifestyle. She has brought legions of women -and even some men;-)- to the sport, and lives a very selfmade-life. Her man is Charlie Cunningham, another pioneer of the sport, another stinkin´hippie*ggg*, frame builder, allround genius and so forth. Jacquie is head and heart of the WOMBATS (Women on mountainbikes and tea association), has many great takes on life and I daresay is a wise woman... I guess we all would be roadies with knobby tires if not for people like her, bringing spirit and humour and selfmadeness to the sport.

to get there, and enjoy!
Those are the adventures of Mr. Fimbulmyrk, in bushcraft and blacksmithing, mountainbiking and hiking, reenactment, writing, singing, dancing, stargazing and having a piece of cake and a coffee. Pray have a seat and look around you, but be warned - the forest´s twilight is ferocious at times.
